Blast Kids’ Parties brings a combined 12 years of experience in the children’s party character business to your party or event. When we show up, you can expect a lot of silly fun, entertainment, and empowered play! We’re committed to making your event memorable with quality performers and costumes.

Our Story

Blast Kids’ Parties was founded in 2018 when Ron Reaves moved to Portland, Oregon. After running a different party character company in Yakima, Washington for 3 years and spending 9 years working for some of the top children’s party companies in Los Angeles, he decided to start his own company.

Much of the inspiration for starting the company was Ron’s idea for a program that strives to develop and empower the next generation by teaching children to master their character. That program is Superheroes in Training. The program uses fun games and activities to help children learn and develop new life skills through play.

While childhood character development and the desire to make the world a better place were central to founding Blast Kids’ Parties and continue to be the bedrock the company is based on, we still do awesome birthday parties!
